More than 44% of land in Oregon is privately owned. Financial incentive programs are aimed at encouraging and assisting landowners in managing their resources and meeting their objectives. Typical forestry projects can be aimed at protecting the landowner's resources/investment from fire or insect and disease infestation, to increasing its monitary and environmental value in the future.
So where can landowners find out what, if any, financial assistance is available and if they qualify? Just like landowner's objectives will fluctuate, so will the amount and source of funding that is available. This website will not provide you with a complete, comprehensive list of financial assistance programs, but hopefully start you in the right direction.
